		     Basic Questions


1. What is a Home Page?

- Web Pages: are individual documents (including text,
  audio, video, and combinations of those (also called
  multimedia) made available on the World-Wide-Web. 

- HomePage: is YOUR personal page - or the starting 
  point of an individual's or company's Web Pages.

2. What is HTML? (Hyper-Text Mark-up Language)

- Hyper-Text: allows you to jump from one document to another,
  by selecting a "link" in the original document.

- Mark-up Language: the codes added to a regular document that
  allow the Hyper-Text functions to work.

3. Don't I need to be a PROGRAMMER to do this?

- Yes. (just kidding) (but yes) (sort of) (we all are) (never mind)

- No.  This stuff is simple.  Just a few commands that make
  the viewer's screen display your information the way you 
  want it presented.
